DotWRememberMe

Ok, hear me out on this one before getting pissed, because on the surface this isn’t really THAT bad of a deal…

This week on the North American PlayStation Store, PlayStation Plus users can pick up the Capcom title Remember Me for the not-TOO-shabby price of $13.99. This is on sale from it’s now standard $19.99 price because honestly, while alright-ish, it wasn’t an amazing game and probably didn’t sell like gangbusters. Why is a weak deal? Well…

My big issue here is that while we get a little discount on the game, it was recently announced as one of the European PS Plus free PS3 games starting October 23rd.

That’s right, Europeans get that game for free (along with goddamned Metal Gear Rising [blade mode lol]) and WE have to pay for it. Then again, maybe Sony is just trying to get a few sales for it now before giving it to us for free in a month or two. Wouldn’t be the first time they’ve pulled a dick move like that…

Don’t waste your money on Remember Me on North American PSN. Put that $14 towards a European PS Plus membership, make a European account, and get actual GOOD free games… US Plus, folks. Good jeorb.
