Every time I see a piece of new media for indie curio Octodad: Dadliest Catch, I can’t help but smile like a giddy moron. Casting players as an octopus who is married to a human wife with a family in tow, the game has you directing the cephalopod around various slice-of-life situations and levels to accomplish tasks all the while ensuring that nobody realises that you’re well, a bit different.
As you might expect this leads to some classic situations, with attending a wedding being one such example.
Catch the insanity after the break.
Developed by Young Horses Inc, Octodad: Dadliest Catch arrives on PC and PlayStation 4 sometime in November.
