Focus Home Interactive and Cyanide Studio have announced that the Games Workshop fantasy sports game Blood Bowl, will arrive on Android and iPad tablets sometime early this month.
A turn-based take on American Football which draws liberally from Warhammer’s fantasy ensemble of Dwarves, Skaven, Orcs and more, Blood Bowl has been popular ever since it originally released as a board game back in 1987.
Rather than being a re-release of the older Blood Bowl game, this newest adaptation for tablets will instead be a conversion of the forthcoming Blood Bowl title, known as Blood Bowl II on PC.

Boasting an extensive single-player campaign and multiple fantasy races to create your team from, each with their own strengths and weaknesses, Blood Bowl should prove to be an addictive affair when it releases shortly.
An added bonus to the tablet version of the game comes in the form of the multiplayer modes. Here, players can either play local multiplayer with a friend by “hotseating” the tablet, or, go online and engage in some cross-platform play against other Android, iOS and PC players.
