It has been revealed by Nintendo Australia and New Zealand that the neighbouring countries will ALSO be receiving the Limited Edition Super Smash Bros. 3DS, albeit without the game pre-loaded on. It’s not quite the great deal Europe is getting, but it’s still nice to see the handheld coming to other regions.

Pre-orders in Aus and NZ for the “very limited quantities” will be available from EB Games Online will begin August 27th, so be at the ready! They’re sure to go fast!

Okay, so we’re a little late getting this news out, but it’s worth the wait. Well, so long as you’re a European resident.

The first of undoubtedly multiple Super Smash Bros bundles was officially unveiled last week via Nintendo UK‘s Twitter, and is (as of yet) exclusive to our European brothers and sisters. Releasing alongside the 3DS version of the game on October 3rd will be this lovely red 3DS XL with the game pre-loaded onto it, depicting nearly a dozen fighters in the interesting colour choice of black and white. I’m not 100% sold on the particular art style (there’s just something off about Link’s nose…), but it’s okay because I don’t live in Europe!

As stated above, Super Smash Bros for 3DS releases October 3rd, while the Wii U version is still set for “Holiday 2014.”
