Stellar first-person shooter BioShock is going mobile this summer when it hits iPhone and iPad.

Set during the 1960s, you are tasked with exploring the underwater utopia-turned-dystopia Rapture to fight mutated citizens and discover its horrible secrets.

The mobile version of the 2009 Xbox and PC hit is a direct port, but has had some “minor alterations” because of the limitations of the platform. Senior producer Brian Lowe said that items “such as removing dynamic shadows, or changing the way fog is displayed” were changed.

BioShock is coming to iOS in the summer, and requires an iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad mini 2, or an iPhone 5, 5C, or 5S. The iPod Touch series will not be supported, and Lowe says 2K has “no immediate plans to bring BioShock to Android.”
