You guys remember Boge? Of course you remember Boge. Once a fairly integral part of the show way back in the early days, Boge has since periodically continued to entertain us with his presence on the show every few weeks. We used to like Boge, we did. But this time Boge let us down. Boge was supposed to be there this week for Joe and Kris – be there for US, the fans. But as it is now blindingly obvious, Boge doesn’t care. Boge NEVER cared.

So the guys played some pinball to forget about that jerk!

In addition to enjoying some Zen Pinball, the boys touch on the Crytek/Homefront issues and sale to Deep Silver, the free games available in August through PlayStation Plus and Games with Gold, the newly announced EA Access program, and more!

Do you want to know the most interesting part? Without the music, this week’s show is UNDER AN HOUR. To be completely honest, I don’t remember the last time the show kept on track with their original one-hour time frame, and it’s truthfully a bit depressing. It’s like they don’t even care anymore… STOP TAINTING THEM, BOGE, YOU FIEND.

Ahem. Music this week comes from the July Dwelling of Duels competition! At the time of recording the winners had not yet been announced, but they have now, so check out the rockin’ artists below! And no, that’s not a typo. Nestalgica and NesTalgia are, in fact, two separate people.

Nestalgica – Technodrome Terror (TMNT 2: The Arcade Game)
Mega Beardo – Giger? I Don’t Even Know Her! (Alien 3)
Harjawaldar – A Perilous Journey (Ufouria)
Ivan Hakštok & Sixto Sounds – The Heavens Are Calling (Gradius Gaiden)
NesTalgia – Welcome to Earth (Zen Intergalactic Ninja)

Now if you want to subscribe to our handsome SML duo on iTunes, do the thing. If you’d rather just download the mp3, do the other thing. Finally, if you hate having a middle man and want to just listed right now with the YouTube video, do the thing below.

MOST IMPORTANTLY, if you want to write in to Joe and Kris to tell them how much you love the show and how much you hate Boge (remember to tell them that you’re not angry with him – just disappointed), you can do so by sending them an e-mail at thesmlpodcast (at) gmail (dot) com.
