After a series of leaked photos emerged a few days ago, Telltale Games have at last revealed the first in-game trailer for their adaptation of HBO and George R R Martin‘s epic fantasy, Game of Thrones.

Though short in length, the trailer does an admirable job of introducing House Forrester, a noble family in the north with ties to House Stark and who now finds their fate uncertain after the events of the Red Wedding.

The game is set to run concurrently with the television show, spanning events from the end of season three to the beginning of season five.

Brilliantly, the trailer is narrated by actress Lena Headey who reprises her role as the cruel Lannister family matriarch Cersei Lannister in the game.

Also confirmed to reprise their roles from the hit show are Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister and Natalie Dormer as Margery Tyrell.  Additionally, Ramsey Snow, the son of Roose Bolton is also glimpsed in the trailer for a brief moment, but there’s no confirmation on whether or not the actor will return to provide voice over work for him at this point.

The first episode of Game of Thrones, a six-part series, is set to be released on PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, iOS and Android before the end of the year.
