SCE San Diego Studio and The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, the studio headed up by God of War creator David Jaffe, has announced Drawn to Death, a hand-drawn third-person arena shooter exclusively for PlayStation 4.

Set inside the sketchy notebook of an imaginative teenager, Jaffe was keen to describe it  as a “violent and bizarre landscape filled with all of the weird, amazing, passionate, and exciting fantasies that are swimming around in the head of our teenage artist.”

Gameplay-wise, Drawn to Death promises to be deep while being ”the offspring of an old school arena shooter” with “updated, modern sensibilities.” The game’s cornerstone launch mode—Four-Player Deathmatch—promises to be full of action, as well as give players the need and ability to master “advanced environment movement, earn and exploit enemy tells, and form clever strategies.”

Sound interesting?
