I wouldn’t have believed it if I didn’t see it with my own eyes. After a literal 21-month hiatus from regular downloadable content releases, Harmonix and Rock Band are returning with not one, not two, but THREE artists with songs for the popular rhythm game.

Only one song will be available from each artist, but it’s such a monumental moment for what we thought was a dearly departed friend that we absolutely cannot balk at the idea that there is brand new Rock Band DLC.

    Arctic Monkeys –“R U Mine?
Avenged Sevenfold – Shepherd Of Fire
Foo Fighters – Something From Nothing

Each track is available for $1.99 USD on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 starting tomorrow. Or £.99 in the UK and €1.49 in the wherever Euros are used. Songs will be available on January 21st, 2015 for the PlayStation 3 in EU territories.

That felt weird to write, considering we haven’t had to do anything of the sort in nearly two years. Dang, man. Here’s to potentially more Rock Band DLC!
