2K have today confirmed that NBA 2K16 will release on September 29th, 2015 with players who pre-order the game receiving access to the game four days earlier on September 25th.
As well as getting access to the court early, pre-order folks will also snag 10,000 in Virtual Currency and a tailored MyTEAM VIP Package depending on the format that you purchase the game on.
The game will arrive on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360 platforms.

Windsor, UK – May 26, 2015 – 2K today announced that NBA® 2K16, the next iteration of the top-rated NBA video game simulation series for the past 15 years*, will offer fans an unprecedented Early Tip-Off Weekend, putting the full game into the hands of fans four days ahead of the scheduled street date. Beginning today, fans can pre-order NBA 2K16 at participating retail and online vendors, ensuring they receive their copy beginning on Friday, September 25, four days ahead of the game’s September 29 street date, along with in-game bonuses.
