Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, this year’s installment of Ubisofts annual stealth-action franchise, will be hitting the shelves this autumn. While the game wasn’t playable at E3 unfortunately, we did get a pretty cinematic trailer.
Now, we all know how much cinematic trailers actually mean (that being jack shit), but based on what we know of the actual game, Ubisoft is on the path to set things straight after the troublesome launch of Unity last year. Syndicate will feature a second playable character, Evie. It will also be devoid of any multiplayer or co-op mode, and it will be ditching the companion app as well.
I’ve been calling for a victorian-era AC game since Brotherhood. Please, Ubi, don’t mess this one up!
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate launches on PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4 on Oct. 23, 2015.
